Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced underwriter for secured loan products (HL/LAP) in Dehradun.

You will evaluate creditworthiness, verify KYC, and ensure adherence to policies and SLAs. The role requires collaboration with sales to meet targets and manage branch portfolio quality. The incumbent will conduct personal discussions with customers, oversee telephonic/field verifications, and coordinate with vendors for legal and technical support, ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in secured loan products (HL/LAP).
• Experience in underwriting secured proposals as per policies and SLAs.
• Conduct personal discussions with customers to establish credit worthiness.
• Ensure completion of credit/KYC documents and verification—telephonic, field & collateral visits.
• Coordinate with sales to achieve targets and ensure TAT or SLAs are met.
• Adhere to credit policy and maintain branch portfolio quality.
• Monitor collections buckets and related risk.
• Conduct regular training sessions for policy updates.
• Hands-on experience in legal and technical assessment.
• Empanel local vendors for legal and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite secured loan proposals aligned with policies and SLAs.
• Engage with customers to assess creditworthiness through discussions.
