The role involves evaluating creditworthiness, preparing credit appraisal notes, and supporting risk assessment and portfolio monitoring for SME clients. Ideal candidates have 2–6 years of experience in credit underwriting for SME or large corporate segments, with CA or MBA (Finance) preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in Credit Underwriting (SME or Large Corporate segment).
• CA or MBA (Finance) preferred.
• Strong analytical and credit assessment skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs) for SME clients.
• Coordinate with business teams to finalize terms from a risk perspective.
• Interact with clients to gather required financial and operational information.
• Monitor accounts in line with sanction terms and highlight deviations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly portfolio monitoring reports.
• Identify and escalate non-compliances with recommended actions.
• Conduct site visits to client units and submit inspection reports.
• Manage escalations related to credit and risk assessments.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs) for SME clients
• Coordinate with business teams to finalize terms and conditions from a risk perspective
• Interact with clients to gather required financial and operational information
• Monitor accounts in line with sanction terms and highlight deviations
• Prepare monthly and quarterly portfolio monitoring reports
• Identify and elevate non-compliances along with recommended action plans
• Conduct site visits to client units and submit detailed inspection reports
• Manage and address escalations related to credit and risk assessments

Candidate Profile
