Job summary

Honeycomb Creative Support in Bengaluru is seeking a Creative Writer to produce engaging content across blogs, social media, websites, emails, and print materials. You will craft headlines, simplify complex ideas, and drive audience engagement with clear, compelling narratives.

Given 3–5 years' experience, prior agency work is preferred. You will collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams, apply SEO practices, and ensure brand voice consistency for diverse campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or content strategy.
• Prior agency/marcom experience is mandatory.
• Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of SEO and CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, GA) and analytics.
• Strong portfolio with writing samples and campaign experience.

Key Job Responsibilities

Content Creation & Copywriting

• Write, edit, and proofread content across blogs, social media, websites, emailers, white papers, press releases, and other marketing materials.
• Simplify complex concepts into clear, engaging content for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Adapt tone of voice and messaging for different target audiences while maintaining brand consistency.

Research & Strategy

• Research industry trends, brand positioning, and audience behaviour to develop relevant content.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to transform ideas into compelling stories.
• Apply SEO best practices, including keyword research, content structure, readability, and meta descriptions.

Performance & Optimisation

• Monitor content performance and refine content based on data and audience insights.
• Contribute to content strategy with creative ideas and actionable recommendations.
• Conduct A/B testing for website and email content wherever required.

What We’re Looking For

• 3 – 5 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or content strategy.
• Prior experience working with an advertising, marketing communications (marcom), or creative agency is mandatory.
• A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of SEO principles and CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Familiarity with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, HubSpot, Google Analytics, or basic HTML will be an added advantage.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant writing samples and campaign experience.
