Job description

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Creative Video Editor to join our growing creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling long-form videos and explainer content that captivate audiences and deliver meaningful storytelling. You will work closely with the fellow editors and cross-departmental teams to transform ideas into engaging visual experiences that drive audience retention, strengthen brand identity, and deliver exceptional content across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality long-form videos, explainer videos, and other digital content for YouTube and various online platforms.
• Transform raw footage into engaging, well-structured videos with a strong focus on storytelling, pacing, and viewer engagement.
• Collaborate closely with content strategists, motion graphics artists, and the creative team to bring ideas to life.
• Enhance videos using appropriate music, transitions, subtitles, B-roll, and other creative elements to deliver a polished final output.
• Perform basic colour correction and ensure consistency in the overall visual quality of the videos.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are consistently met without compromising quality.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, storytelling techniques, AI-powered tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve the quality of content.
• Maintain organised project files and follow efficient post-production workflows to ensure seamless collaboration across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Video Editor, Creative Video Editor, or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience editing long-form content and explainer videos.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory).
• Intermediate proficiency in Adobe After Effects and basic proficiency in DaVinci Resolve for colour correction and grading.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, narrative structure, pacing, shot composition, and audience retention principles, along with basic colour correction knowledge.
• Creative mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality video content.
