Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is looking for a Display & Social Banner Designer / HTML5 Banner Developer to craft high-quality banners for display and social media. You will convert PSDs into animated HTML5 ads, maintain brand consistency, and prepare assets for developers and animation teams.

1. Design Skills

• Create high-quality PSD files for display and social media banners.
• Understand layout, typography, colours, and visual hierarchy.
• Design banners that follow brand guidelines.
• Create multiple banner sizes while maintaining design consistency.
• Prepare assets for developers or animation.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Organise PSD files with proper layer names and folders.
• Use Smart Objects, masks, adjustment layers, and layer styles.
• Export images in the correct formats (PNG, JPG, SVG, WebP).

3. HTML5 Banner Development

• Build animated HTML5 banners using:
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
• Create smooth animations and transitions.
• Optimise banners for fast loading and small file sizes.

4. Animation Skills

• Create smooth and engaging animations.
• Understand timing, easing, and motion principles.
• Animate text, images, logos, buttons, and other elements.
• Follow animation timelines and creative briefs.

5. Banner Ad Knowledge

• Understand standard display banner sizes.
• Follow IAB guidelines and ad specifications.
• Build banners that meet platform requirements.
• Keep banner file sizes within the required limits.

6. Social Media Creatives

• Design banners for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
• Create assets in different aspect ratios (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9, etc.).
• Aware of the social media specifications and safe area.

7. Attention to Detail

• Check spelling, alignment, spacing, and image quality.
• Ensure animations run smoothly.

8. Problem Solving

• Optimise animations without affecting performance.

9. Communication & Teamwork

• Understand creative briefs clearly.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients.
• Ask questions when requirements are unclear.
• Share progress and meet deadlines.

10. Time Management

• Handle multiple banner sizes and projects.
• Deliver work on time without compromising quality.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with the GSAP animation library.

• Familiarity with Bonzai, Celtra, Adform, ResponsiveAds or similar banner-building tools.
• Basic understanding of Git or version control.
