Job summary

Rely in Mumbai is seeking an EOT Crane Rigger to assist crane operators in lifting and positioning machinery. You will be responsible for ensuring safety during material movement and maintaining the workplace.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10th-grade education and 2-3 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a strong understanding of weights and lifting tools.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience as EOT crane rigger in engineering industry.
• Understanding of weights of equipment and lifting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist crane operator for lift, position, and place machinery using EOT crane.
• Signal crane operator for moving loads ensuring safety.
• Test lifting tools for safety and reliability.
• Select and attach lifting tackles for movement.
• Control and support movement of heavy loads.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping on job.

Job Purpose

Assist to crane operator for lift, position & place machinery, equipment using EOT cane with safety.

Key Result Area

Assist to crane operator for material movement on assembly shop floor with EOT crane.

Key Responsibilities

• Signal or verbally direct crane operator for moving loads, in order to ensuresafety of workers & materials.
• Test lifting tools & tackles to ensure safety & reliability.
• Select & attach lifting tackles to materials for movement.
• Control & support movement of heavy loads.
• Dismantle & store lifting tools & tackles after use.
• Maintain cleanliness & housekeeping on job.

Qualification and Experience

Minimum 10th passed with 2-3 years experience as EOT crane rigger in engineering industry.

Understand weights of equipments & lifting tools.
