Job summary

Zensar Technologies is seeking a skilled Couchbase administrator to manage and optimize production-grade Couchbase clusters in a demanding environment. You will implement high availability, performance tuning, and disaster recovery, while collaborating with DevOps and cloud teams to ensure reliable service.

The role emphasizes scripting automation, Linux administration, and on-call incident management, contributing to secure, scalable database operations across our platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Couchbase Server administration.
• Expertise in N1QL, indexing, replication, XDCR, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Couchbase clusters.
• Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and availability.
• Perform database administration, backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot cluster, replication, indexing, and query performance issues.
• Implement scalability, high availability, and security best practices.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, and DevOps teams to support production environments.
• Participate in on-call support and incident management for critical issues.
