Job summary

Zensar is seeking a MongoDB DBA specialist to administer, monitor, and optimize production databases in a Bengaluru-based role.

You will work with MongoDB and cloud-native databases (DynamoDB, Neptune, Bigtable, Firestore) in AWS and/or GCP environments, performing installations, upgrades, backups, and performance tuning to ensure high availability and security.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with MongoDB DBA administration and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with DynamoDB, Neptune, Bigtable, and Firestore.
• Experience working in AWS and/or GCP public cloud environments.
• Knowledge of database backup/recovery, replication, clustering, and security best practices.
• Good understanding of automation, scripting, and monitoring tools.

• Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support database-driven solutions.
• Troubleshoot database issues and implement proactive monitoring and automation.
