Job summary

Arborvitae In in Bengaluru is seeking a Costing Engineer / Quantity Surveyor / Tendering Executive for a leading residential high-rise developer. The role is based at Jakkur / Thanisandra in North Bengaluru and covers the full commercial cycle on high-rise towers.

You will prepare BOQs, cost estimates, tenders, and cost sheets while reviewing drawings and coordinating with Site, Planning, Procurement and Finance teams. Experience in residential high-rises and MIVAN shuttering is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant civil construction or real estate experience.
• Hands-on costing, quantity surveying and tendering experience.
• Residential high-rise project experience mandatory.
• MIVAN shuttering exposure preferred.
• Max 2 previous employer changes and strong commercial sense.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil and finishing works.
• Review drawings for quantity and costing requirements.
• Conduct rate analysis and prepare cost sheets.
• Prepare and manage tender documents and RFQs.
• Float enquiries to contractors and vendors and analyse quotations.
• Prepare comparative statements for contractor and vendor quotations.
• Support contractor finalisation and commercial negotiations.
• Verify RA Bills, measurements and quantity claims.
• Track variations and additional works and their cost impact.
• Perform quantity reconciliation for major construction materials.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
• Coordinate with Site, Planning, Procurement, Design and Finance teams.
• Maintain records of BOQs, estimates, tenders and commercial docs.
• Prepare regular costing and commercial MIS reports for management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Civil Construction or Real Estate.
• Hands-on experience in costing, quantity surveying and tendering.
• Experience on residential high-rise projects is mandatory.
• MIVAN shuttering exposure is strongly preferred.
• Maximum 2 company changes.
• Strong understanding of construction quantities, rates and commercial processes.
• Candidates who can independently handle activities from BOQ preparation through tendering and cost analysis will be preferred.
• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
