Job summary

FinOps Weekly in Bengaluru invites a Cost Optimisation Analyst to drive cloud spend governance, tagging, budgeting, and AI-cost models across platforms. You’ll partner with finance, IT, engineering, and product teams to embed cost-conscious practices and deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities include tracking usage, building dashboards, identifying waste, and automating reports. The role blends FinOps with AI cost transparency in a fast-moving, matrix organisation.

Qualifications

  • FinOps and cloud cost management expertise required.

Responsibilities

  • Track cloud spend across multiple platforms and produce reports and dashboards.
  • Enforce tagging policies for cost allocation and support chargeback/showback.
  • Build budgets and forecasts, then track actual spend against forecast.
  • Identify waste, underutilisation, and over-provisioning, and support rightsizing and reserved instance initiatives.
  • Maintain cost governance, tagging standards, and resource lifecycle controls.
  • Automate routine reporting and alerts to improve ongoing cost control.
  • Partner with engineering, product, finance, and IT to drive cost awareness and optimisation.
  • Create cost models for AI usage at token, model, and agent level to improve enterprise AI cost visibility.

# Cost Optimisation AnalystBengaluruFinOpsNot Specified04/08/2026Full-timeHybridFavoriteAccess Job## Job Description## About the RoleThe Cost Optimisation Analyst will report to the Cost Optimisation Manager and support the analysis, monitoring, and optimisation of cloud spend across the organisation. The role exists to strengthen financial accountability, improve efficiency, and support data-driven decisions that help control cloud expenditure.ManagementYou will work closely with finance, IT, engineering, and product teams to improve cost visibility, maintain governance, and embed cost-conscious practices across cloud operations.
