Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor in Mumbai to provide term consultancy services for clients in real estate and infrastructure. You will support cost planning, tender preparation, and final account closure across multiple contracts.

The role requires a BCA PSPC-recognised degree in Building Quantity Surveying and 3+ years of experience, with familiarity in PSSCOC, BIM costing, and IDD implementation. A dynamic, inclusive work environment is offered in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• BCA PSPC-recognised degree in Building Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 3+ years of practical experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor.
• Registered QS with RICS or SISV or equivalent.
• Experience on at least 3 projects using Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
• Familiar with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for costing (e.g., CostX).
• Experience with Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) on projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide QS term consultancy for the client including cost planning and estimation.
• Prepare tender documents and issue for each contract.
• Handle variation orders finalisation and closing of final accounts.
• Prepare and issue tender documents including drawings, specifications and O&M manuals.
• Incorporate insurance, warranties and bonding requirements in tender documents.
• Assess site constraints and prepare pricing schedules & tender breakdown forms.

Job Description

Provide QS Term Consultancy service for Client:

• Cost planning and estimation
• Prepare tender
• Variation order finalisation
• Closing of final accounts
• Prepare and issue tender documents for each contract including:
• Information as provided by designers including drawings and specifications
• Requirements for operating & maintenance manuals
• Requirements for testing, commissioning & training
• Conditions of tender
• Detailed scopes of work
• Pricing documents schedules & tender breakdown forms
• Site constraints
• Requirements for insurance, warranties & bonds

Qualifications

• Possess BCA PSPC-recognised degree in Building Quantity Surveying, or equivalent;
• Having 3 years and above of practical experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor;
• Registered Quantity Surveyor with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) or equivalent;
• Possess experience of at least 3 projects using Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC);
• Familiar with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for costing purpose (i.e.Cost X, etc.);
• Possess experience in on going/completed projects where Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) is implemented
