Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Cost Manager’s in drafting proposals for upcoming projects and various submission activities.
- Provide support to the team as needed.
- Actively partner with clients, responding to requests accurately and on time, and manage multiple packages in projects.
- Create estimates and cost plans for MEP packages for key client developments.
- Support the team by estimating and reviewing overall MEP scope of work.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in Cost X & databoxes.
- Have experience managing large teams.
- Maintain client relationships and focus on client relationship building.
- Possess strong knowledge of MEP packages and moderate knowledge of CSA works.
- Show strong knowledge of Indian procurement and basic knowledge of procurement for global projects.
- Handle multiple projects and stakeholders from various time zones.
- Participate in drafting proposals to clients.
- Contribute to developing client relationships that support the business.
- Lead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client value.
- Approach problem‑solving with innovative, solution‑oriented methods.
- Lead in the preparation of quantification take‑offs for cost plans/BoQs.
- Show proficiency in standard modes of measurement.
- Participate in implementing the QA/QC plan.
- Support sales and marketing activities.
- Train leaders and other team members.
- Foster top performance and growth for your employees through excellent mentorship and leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cost management, especially global pre‑construction work, ideally from a consultancy background on large‑scale construction projects such as data centre or life sciences projects.
- Minimum 5 years in quantification take‑offs.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in overseas projects.
- Minimum 3 years of past work experience on Cost X (or Planswift/Cubicost/Candy/ZW CAD).
- Experience and confidence in leading a team, building a team, and developing trusted client relationships.
- Chartered or on the path to complete chartership.
- Degree or comparable experience in a cost management or construction discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
