Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Cost Manager - Procurement to lead cost control and procurement for major projects. You will coordinate with clients, oversee CSA/MEP cost plans, and manage tender analyses.

The role requires strong leadership to guide our teams and ensure alignment with budgets and schedules. You will develop robust cost strategies, support procurement decisions, and maintain rigorous document control across RFPs and design packages, while building trusted client relationships on

Qualifications

• Minimum years of cost management experience in global pre-construction works, preferably with consultancy experience on large-scale projects.
• Ability to lead a team and build trusted client relationships.
• Chartered status or on the path to it; support for attainment.

Responsibilities

• Actively partner with clients, responding to their requests accurately and on time and should be able to take responsibility for multiple packages in projects.
• Create estimates and cost plans for CSA/MEP packages for key client developments.
• Support team with estimation and reviewing the overall CSA/MEP scope of work.
• Proficient in client interactions and focusing on client relationship building; attend project kickoff calls.
• Lead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client value.
• Set up and administer procurement and RFP folders, ensuring accurate document management and version control.
• Manage and administer design team and contractor RFIs, including tracking, coordination, and timely follow-up.
• Review tender submissions and perform detailed side-by-side analyses of costs and scope against the project budget.

The Opportunity

In this role you will :

• Actively partner with clients, responding to their requests accurately and on time and s hould be able to take the responsibility of multiple packages in the projects.
• Create estimates and cost plans for CSA/MEP Packages for key client developments.
• Support team with estimation and reviewing the overall CSA/MEP scope of work .
• Proficient in Client interactions and focussing on Client relationship building ; a ttend the project kick-off calls.
• Express high proficiency in CSA/MEP packages and moderate knowledge of CSA/MEP works .
• Express basic knowledge of Procurement of global p rojects .
• Participate in drafting proposals to Clients.
• Contribute to developing good client relationships that support s the b usiness.
• Lead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client value .
• Set up and administer procurement and RFP folders, ensuring accurate document management and version control.
• Manage and administer design team and contractor RFIs, including tracking, coordination, and timely follow-up.
• Review tender submissions and perform detailed side-by-side analyses of costs and scope against the project budget and comparable existing campus projects.
• Prepare concise summary reports of the tender analysis, highlighting key findings, commercial variances, risks, and recommendations for presentation to the project lead.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have a minimum 1 2 years of experience in cost management especially global p re con s works , ideally from a consultancy background, on large scale construction projects ideally in data center projects and l ife s ciences project.
• Have the ability to have innovation and solution-oriented approaches.
• A minimum of 4 years of past work experience required on Cost X (or Planswift / Cubicost / Candy / ZW CAD).
• Have experience and confidence to lead a team , build a team and develop trusted client relationships.
• Are chartered or are on the path to complete it. We can help.
• Are savvy in understanding the business model and pursuing market opportunities.
• Have a degree or comparable experience in a cost management or construction discipline.
• Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
