Job Summary

The Cost Analyst, Managed Services will be responsible for processing and auditing telecom invoices as part of TEOCO’s cost assurance operations. The role involves invoice validation, reconciliation, audit exception investigation, dispute management, and supporting client-related requests for assigned vendor accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and audit telecom invoices.
• Assign G/L coding when system-generated coding is unavailable.
• Reconcile outstanding balances, adjustments, and credits.
• Investigate and resolve system audit exceptions.
• Validate and document any billing or service change activity.
• Create disputes for invalid or incorrect billing charges.
• Develop subject matter expertise (SME) in client ordering, provisioning, payables, and billing systems accessible to the team.
• Understand vendor spend and billing terms, including contracts, service guides, price lists, ICAs, and other related commercial documents.
• Understand the client’s contract repository structure and associated documentation.
• Learn and utilize Business Objects, the reporting tool within the application.
• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Support client requests related to assigned accounts and vendors.
• Assist with reconciliation activities for claims assigned to specific vendor accounts.
• Review and promptly address vendor responses marked as “Auditor Review.”
