Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Chennai is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting Solutions. You will perform cost accounting activities, post month-end journal entries for accruals and reclasses in ERP, and help implement cost-saving initiatives with the operations team.

Fresh finance graduates with strong MS Office skills and good English communication are encouraged to apply. Joining Flex will provide exposure to SOPs, process documentation in DMST, and opportunities to learn

Qualifications

• Freshers or 0–2 years in finance/cost accounting.
• B.Com/BBA/M.Com/MBA in Finance required or preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting principles.
• Good command of English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cost accounting activities defined for the role.
• Follow corporate policy and track key cost metrics.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives through process improvements.
• Coordinate with operations to explain metric non-conformances.
• Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclass in ERP.
• Prepare and maintain SOP aligned with DMST.
• Learn and serve as backup for cost accountant.
