Job summary

Flex is hiring a Junior Financial Analyst – General Ledger in Chennai to support journal posting, reporting, and reconciliation tasks. You will extract ERP reports, update key financial statements, and assist in process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

The role suits freshers with finance education who can work in shifts and communicate effectively in English, supporting cross-functional finance teams and building foundational GL expertise.

Qualifications

• Freshers / 0-12 months of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Good written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Process journal transactions as per standard operating procedures.
• Post rectification entries for errors identified by the supervisor.
• Extract reports from the ERP system as per SOPs.
• Generate and update Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance Sheet reports.
• Perform reconciliation of Sub-module vs Trial Balance.
• Work with Finance teams to support basic macros.
• Analyze data and identify automation opportunities.
• Work in a complex environment with strict deadlines.

• B.Com / BBA (Finance) / M.Com / MBA (Finance).

• Good understanding of MS Applications (Basic Level).
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work as a team player.
