ABANS GROUP is seeking a Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead organisation-wide budgeting, expense monitoring and management reporting from Mumbai. The role requires strong analytical skills and a track record in corporate budgeting and MIS.

The incumbent will consolidate budgets across departments, monitor performance against plans, identify cost-saving opportunities and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Formación

• CA / CMA / MBA in Finance / M. Com with relevant experience.
• 5-8 years of corporate budgeting, FP&A, cost control or financial MIS experience.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional to manage organisation-wide budgeting, expense monitoring, financial planning and management reporting.

The incumbent will be responsible for preparing and consolidating budgets across departments and business verticals, monitoring financial performance against approved budgets, identifying cost optimisation opportunities and providing actionable financial insights to management.

2. Budget Monitoring: Track actual expenses against approved budgets and analyse variances.
3. Cost Control: Monitor expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure budget adherence.

Educational Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA in Finance / M. Com with relevant experience.
• 5-8 years of experience in corporate budgeting, FP&A, cost control or financial MIS.
• Experience in a diversified group, financial services organisation or multi-business environment will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of corporate budgeting, expense management and financial planning.
• Hands-on experience in budget vs. actual analysis and financial MIS.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query and financial modelling.
• Working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems; Power BI exposure will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently coordinate with multiple departments and manage reporting timelines.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.

A hands-on finance professional with strong experience in budgeting, cost monitoring and management reporting, capable of independently managing budgeting activities across multiple departments and business verticals while working closely with functional heads and the Finance leadership team
