Baldota Group in Karnataka seeks a dedicated Liaison & Public Relations professional with strong Kannada language skills to manage licenses, permits, and statutory compliance across multiple departments. You will coordinate with local leaders and government agencies to facilitate approvals and address grievances.

The role requires experience in liaisoning, public relations, and on-ground coordination, with a focus on regulatory processes and community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in any stream; PG in Mass Communication preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication; Kannada language is a must.
  • Experience in liaisoning and public relations activities.
  • Strong coordination and negotiation skills.
  • Procedural knowledge of Govt agencies.
  • Awareness of current affairs and political scenario.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison with Police, Revenue, DMG, Mines & Geology, Irrigation, district administration, forest and other government agencies for licenses and permits.
  • Adhere to statutory compliance and returns with local authorities (Revenue, DMG, Forest, RTO, property tax).
  • Land acquisition tasks with KIADB, conversions, Khata, planning, survey, etc.
  • Liaison with local leaders including MLA/MP and with villagers and landowners.
  • Handle local issues and grievances.
  • Draft applications and replies for authorities.
  • Build an effective district-level network to understand the environment and suggest actions.
  • Coordinate with other departments and provide timely support.
  • Represent the company in public hearings.
  • Coordinate with Legal and panel Advocates for title due diligence and document facilitation.
  • Review with Security and foster strong relations between management and security.
  • Interact with employees to improve organizational culture.
  • Maintain cordial relations with Media & Press to enhance company values.
  • Assist CSR activities to achieve goals, vision, and mission.
  • Any other work assigned from time to time.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Liaison with Police, Revenue, Department of Mines & Geology, Irrigation & water resource, Dist. Administration, Forest department and other government agencies etc for obtaining licenses, statutory clearances, permits, C&D land etc., matters.
  • Adhere to all statutory compliance and Returns - Revenue, DMG, Forest, RTO Departments, Property Tax with local authorities viz: Municipality/Grama Panchayats etc.,
  • Land Acquisition – KIADB, Permission U/s 109, Conversion, Khata, Planning, Survey etc.,
  • Liaisoning/Coordination with local leaders including MLA & MP, villagers/ land loosers /land owners etc.,
  • Handling local issues & grievances.
  • Drafting suitable applications/letters and replies to submit to appropriate authorities.
  • Create an effective network at district level to understand the environment and suggest immediate corrective steps.
  • Ensure co-ordination with other departments and provide them timely support.
  • Representing the company in public hearings.
  • Effective Coordination with Legal department and Panel Advocates for title due diligence, facilitating documents in time bound manner.
  • Review & coordination with Security section & taking initiatives in this area to build strong relation between the management & security.
  • Interacting with all levels of employees to understand and improve the organization culture.
  • Maintain cordial relationship with Media & Press to increase our organizational values.
  • Assisting in CSR activities to achieve the organizational goals, vision and mission.
  • Any other work assigned on time to time basis.
Qualifications
  • Education : MA/PGDM (Public Relations)/MSW/Post Graduate in Law/Mass Communication / Geologist
