Job summary

Bayer in Bengaluru, India is seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Solution Design Manager to lead the design, implementation, and operation of global SAP FICO solutions within a green-field S/4 ERP rollout.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Finance processes comply with local and international regulations while driving efficiency and accuracy, and you will define the Finance data model and integration methods with other CORE Value Streams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration.
• Experience with global SAP implementations.
• Deep knowledge of SAP FICO modules including CO-CCA, CO-PCA, CO-PC, ML, FI-AA.
• Background with RICEF development using BTE, User-exits, Customer exits, BADIs and Data Migration Cockpit.
• Familiarity with ITIL and SAP tools (ServiceNow, Solution Manager/CloudALM).
• Fluent in English.

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Solution Design Manager. This position is an integral part of a global green-field implementation of SAP’s latest S/4 ERP solution.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and running SAP FICO global solutions.
• This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Finance processes align with both local and international regulations while driving operational efficiency and accuracy.

POSITION PURPOSE

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Solution Design Manager. This position is an integral part of a global green-field implementation of SAP’s latest S/4 ERP solution.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and running SAP FICO global solutions.
• This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Finance processes align with both local and international regulations while driving operational efficiency and accuracy.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Business Value Stream Leads to design, build, test and deploy Bayer’s future global business processes across all divisions Lead the design and decision-making for functional and technical topics across multiple deployments while maintaining the CORE solution’s integrity and adherence to CORE guidelines (design decisions, data definitions, process definition documents, and configuration rationale documents)
• Design solutions and processes that are resilient to changes in business models and changes in technologies Define the Finance data model and integration methods with other CORE Value Streams to deploy the optimal end to end solution
• Drive continuous solution enhancements to live markets Conduct unit and system testing and coordinate user acceptance testing Stay current S/4HANA operational best practices, including SAP's embedded AI capabilities, and leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to enhance delivery quality and efficiency

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree in accounting, finance, or computer science
• Masters Degree in Business Administration is strongly preferred SAP Certification in Financial and Management accounting areas
• 15+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP FICO configuration Proven expertise in SAP implementation and rollout projects, with experience on global projects, development and deployment of SAP global template solutions In‑depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules, in general, with the deepest expertise in management accounting and fixed assets (CO‑CCA, CO‑PCA, CO‑PC, ML, FI‑AA) Significant background in RICEF development using BTE, User‑exits, Customer exits, BADIs and Data Migration Cockpit (techno‑functional role) Demonstrated leadership in managing projects, teams, and stakeholders within a global environment Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and SAP Solution Manager/CloudALM
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices Fluent in English (required)
