Job summary

Emergent Labs in Bengaluru is seeking a social media writer to craft engaging content that taps into culture and tech storytelling for a global AI brand. You will report to the Brand team and contribute to both organic and paid channels.

You’ll own ad copy, scripts for creators, and partnerships, manage campaigns end-to-end, and help build a fun, scalable brand presence from Bangalore.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years writing for brands, agencies, or your own projects.
• Strong social native portfolio.
• Range across long and short form, paid and organic.
• Based in Bangalore and available full-time.
• Fluent in Indian and internet culture.

Responsibilities

• Write ad copy at volume, including hooks, headlines, and angle variants for static and video.
• Ideate, draft, schedule, and publish across content buckets, and hold the weekly posting cadence.
• Collaborate with PR agencies to develop story angles and thought leadership pieces.
• Review and rewrite creator scripts as needed.
• Co-write campaigns with partner brands.
• Own overall campaign management from ideation to execution.

The Role:

We are looking for a social media maverick who knows how to write and create content that taps into culture and craft to build a global fun brand in consumer AI tech. This role reports to the Brand team and is based in Bangalore.

What You’ll Do:

• Performance: write ad copy at volume, including hooks, headlines, and angle variants for static and video
• Organic and social ops: ideate, draft, schedule, and publish across our content buckets, and hold the weekly posting cadence
• PR: bring story angles, not press releases. While working with PR agencies, find the data cut or point of view a journalist would actually run with to establish thought leadership and virality
• Creator scripts: review and rewrite what influencers send back
• Collaborations: co-write campaigns with partner brands
• Campaign management: own overall campaign management from ideation to execution

• Strong social native portfolio
• Range across long and short form, paid and organic
• Strong understanding of culture, communication, and domain
• Comfortable working to a brief and to a deadline
• Enough technical curiosity to build something on Emergent yourself
• Fluent in Indian and internet culture
• Based in Bangalore and available full-time
