Job summary

Asylum is seeking a Malayalam Copywriter to craft engaging Malayalam content across social media, campaigns, and digital channels. You’ll adapt copy to Kerala dialects and ensure each piece resonates with regional nuances while maintaining the original emotional intent.

You will translate and adapt English concepts into Malayalam, develop campaign ideas, and collaborate with designers to bring ideas to life.

Qualifications

• Excellent Malayalam reading and writing skills are a must.
• Strong understanding of the different dialects and regional variations across Kerala.
• Ability to write both standard Malayalam and natural, conversational Malayalam.
• Strong command of English, with the ability to understand and adapt creative briefs.
• Strong attention to grammar, spelling and language nuances.
• Basic Canva skills - you should be able to make simple edits
• Ability to work in a fast-paced creative agency environment and handle multiple projects.

As a Malayalam Copywriter at Asylum, you’ll be responsible for developing engaging, culturally relevant Malayalam content across social media, campaigns, digital platforms and brand communication. You should be someone who can move comfortably between formal Malayalam, conversational Malayalam, colloquial language and regional dialects while knowing when each is appropriate.
