Job summary

Autoliv in Mysuru is seeking an experienced HR leader to oversee operations, employee relations and welfare in a manufacturing setting. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, deployment, and workforce planning, while managing engagement, governance and policy adherence across facilities.

Ideal candidates hold an MSW with 9–11 years of HR experience in manufacturing, and bring strong capabilities in performance management, labor law compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage direct manpower recruitment, onboarding, induction, deployment, and workforce planning.
  • Coordinate employee relations activities and address employee grievances effectively.
  • Monitor absenteeism, turnover, attendance, overtime, late coming, and related workforce metrics.
  • Generate daily and monthly HR reports and track key workforce indicators.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities, monthly celebrations, and welfare initiatives.
  • Organize and facilitate employee committee meetings and ensure timely closure of action items.
HR Operations & Administration
  • Coordinate implementation of corporate HR policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ethical business practices.
  • Manage administration activities including canteen, transportation, medical facilities, uniforms, and other employee welfare services.
  • Drive initiatives to attract, engage, and retain talent.
  • Maintain workplace standards related to facility management and 5S practices.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and updates across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with Plant HR, Finance, and cross-functional teams.
  • Support effective communication and feedback mechanisms across employee groups.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Performance Management & Development
  • Facilitate Performance Development Dialogue (PDD) processes for associates.
  • Support performance management programs and policy deployment initiatives.
  • Provide HR metrics and reports for management reviews.
  • Participate in HR improvement projects and organizational development initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
  • Drive implementation and enhancement of HR practices and policies.
  • Partner with line managers to identify and deploy best HR practices.
  • Participate in Kaizen events, improvement workshops, and process improvement initiatives.
Training & Organizational Development
  • Identify skill gaps and training requirements for associates.
  • Coordinate training programs and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Promote a 'One Team, One Company' culture across locations.
  • Support capability building and employee development initiatives.
Key Requirements

Experience
