Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Pune is seeking a Design Engineer to support the Product Follow-Up organization within R&D, focusing on thermal management and vehicle cooling design. You will contribute to 3D modeling and 2D drawings while engaging with global stakeholders.

The role requires collaboration with US and Europe teams, experience with Windchill/Enovia PLM, and GD&T know-how. Travel internationally up to 3 months may be needed, and strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooling systems and thermal management.
• Proficient in CATIA for 3D/2D design.
• Knowledge of coolant hoses, AC pipes, and fluid routing.
• Experience with Windchill/Enovia PLM and ECM processes.
• Able to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Proficient in MS Office (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willing to travel internationally up to 3 months.
• Fluent in English.

As a Design Engineer, Support the Product Follow-Up organization within R&D by investigating and resolving field quality issues, production-related issues, and product change requests. The role focuses on design activities within Thermal Management [Vehicle cooling] systems, including 3D design and 2D drawing creation, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and Global cross-functional teams [US, Europe].

Must have skills

• Experience within cooling systems and thermal management.
• Excellent working experience in CATIA for 3D and 2D
• Experience working with coolant hoses, AC pipes, and fluid routing systems., Mounting brackets, installations and mounting drawings.
• Strong experience with PLM [Windchill / Enovia]
• Experience working with:
  • Change Orders
  • Engineering change management processes
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience supporting field quality investigations and product follow-up activities.
• Experience working in a global and cross-functional engineering environment.
• Coordination: Working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• GD&T Knowledge: Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• MS Tools: Proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong team-player mindset with a willingness to support colleagues when needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to participate in technical discussions with suppliers and European stakeholders
