Job summary

ADSIPL in Maharashtra is seeking a Control Project Engineer (Graduate) to support deployment and management of BMS/EPMS for AWS data centers. You will work with experienced control engineers on commissioning, documentation, and schedules, contributing to reliable critical infrastructure worldwide.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant work in a data center or critical environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in vendor management and project coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in review and processing of control system change orders and SOW adjustments.
  • Provide admin and technical support for BMS/EPMS commissioning activities.
  • Manage control system project documentation and drawings.
  • Coordinate with TPMs, CM, and ACx teams on deployment schedules.
  • Maintain control system standards, specifications, and BOD docs.
  • Track installation progress, testing, and readiness milestones.
  • Help improve deployment workflows and training materials.

This role offers a structured development path within the Data Center Capacity Delivery organization:

  • Comprehensive onboarding and training on AWS control systems, BMS/EPMS architecture, Controls Specifications, and Basis of Design (BOD) standards
  • Mentorship from senior Control Engineers and Controls Deployment Managers (CDM)
  • Exposure to diverse project types across AWS's global data center portfolio including mechanical controls (ACS CHW, TAHU, MaxCool), electrical controls (AMCOP, BACOP, DLB, FLoReS), and enterprise control systems
  • Opportunities to develop specialized expertise in areas such as BACnet protocols, control system programming, HMI development, or integrated systems coordination
  • Clear progression pathway to Control Engineer and senior technical leadership roles

We are seeking a motivated Control Project Engineer (Graduate) to join our Control Products and Services team. In this role, you will support the deployment and management of control systems for large-scale data center construction projects, working alongside experienced control engineers to ensure successful implementation of BMS and EPMS systems. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automation and control systems, eager to learn in a fast-paced environment, and ready to make an immediate impact on AWS's global infrastructure expansion.

Key job responsibilities

Assist in the review and processing of control system change orders, scope of work (SOW) adjustments, and vendor deliverables

  • Provide administrative and technical support for BMS and EPMS commissioning activities, including functional testing documentation and system acceptance
  • Manage control system project documentation including Controls Points Lists, sequence of operations, network architecture diagrams, and as-built drawings in WorkDocs, SharePoint folders, and Wiki Pages
  • Coordinate with Technical Program Managers (TPM), Construction Managers (CM), and Amazon Commissioning (ACx) teams on control system deployment schedules and milestones
  • Support the maintenance and organization of control system standards, specifications, and BOD documentation
  • Assist in tracking control system installation progress, testing completion, and production readiness milestones
  • Gather feedback from control engineers, field teams, and stakeholders to improve control deployment workflows and processes
  • Support the development and maintenance of control system training materials and technical documentation

Join the control team, a critical infrastructure engineering function within AWS Data Center Capacity Delivery that ensures technical excellence in control systems across our global data center construction portfolio. Our team is responsible for the development, integration, and deployment of electrical and mechanical control infrastructure for AWS data centers globally.

As part of the Data Center Control Engineering Team, you will be part of a highly creative, efficient team tasked with tackling fascinating and challenging problems building and supporting control systems for AWS owned data centers within the APJC region and globally. The AWS Data Center Capacity Delivery Control team works on Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) that monitor and control critical infrastructure including HVAC equipment, chillers, air handling units, electrical distribution, UPS systems, and generators to maintain optimal data center operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of construction or project management experience
  • Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License
