Job summary

EY seeks a Finance Transformation expert to lead Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, and Private Equity processes across asset classes. You will apply expertise in BlackRock Aladdin and Clearwater Analytics to design and optimize investment accounting, reporting, and controls.

Collaborate with global teams to deliver transformation programs, design target operating models, and drive data migration and standardization initiatives.

Qualifications

• CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.
• 25 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, with mandatory experience in hands-on Aladdin/Clearwater.
• Experience supporting finance, accounting, reporting, or investment operations.
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio accounting, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience in Finance Transformation, process improvement, or operating model initiatives.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience of working with international clients preferred.
• Experience with multinational firms or Big4 firms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Finance Transformation engagements across Asset & Wealth Management, Investment Management, Banking, Insurance, and Private Equity clients.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, and Private Equity Accounting processes.
• Leverage BlackRock Aladdin and/or Clearwater Analytics to assess, design, and optimize investment accounting and reporting processes.
• Support business process design, target operating model development, and finance function transformation initiatives.
• Analyze end-to-end investment lifecycle processes and reporting.
• Support requirements gathering, solution design, testing, UAT, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, technology, and business stakeholders to deliver transformation programs.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, and process standardization initiatives.
• Prepare client deliverables, process documentation, operating procedures, and transformation roadmaps.
• Support proposal development, RFP responses, POVs, and client presentations.
• Develop Finance Transformation solutions focused on Investment Accounting and Investments.

The opportunity

Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professionals provide advisory services including Accounting and regulatory support for accounting change and special matters; accounting processes and controls support.

Within EY FAAS practice, the Finance Transformation Experts team build and develop client relationship with our regional stakeholders. We are part of an integrated global network of professionals who develop, design and optimise client service business processes for efficiency and high performance. We leverage and improve various frameworks, methodologies, solutions specific to our offerings and articulate presentations that communicate proposals, strategies, plans and outcomes.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Delivery and Subject Matter Expertise

• Lead and support Finance Transformation engagements across Asset & Wealth Management, Investment Management, Banking, Insurance, and Private Equity clients.

• Support proposal development, RFP responses, POVs, and client presentations.
• Contribute to the development of Finance Transformation solutions focused on Investment Accounting and Investment Operations.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and technology enablement.
• Develop thought leadership, market insights, and solution accelerators related to Aladdin, Clearwater, and Finance Transformation.
• Build strong client relationships and support business growth initiatives within the Financial Services sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and scalable transformation offerings.
