Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior SAP FAAS Delivery Lead to drive techno-functional SAP finance transformations across record-to-report areas such as Revenue Recognition, Accruals, Intercompany reconciliation and Asset Accounting. The role requires deep expertise in SAP FI/CO, Group Reporting, BPC, and AI-enabled solutions, leading delivery teams and collaborating with cross-functional EY teams.

Qualifications

• Deep end-to-end techno-functional knowledge on SAP finance platform in record-to-report areas such as Revenue Recognition, Accruals, Intercompany reconciliation, and Asset Accounting.
• End-to-end implementation experience of SAP FI/CO and related modules (ECC/S4/HANA).
• Experience with AI-enabled solutions in R2R and consolidation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery teams in SAP-led R2R transformation and implementation projects.
• Provide SME guidance and drive multiple workstreams across SAP FI/CO, COPA, and Group Reporting.
• Collaborate with clients and EY market teams to win and shape engagements.
• Lead proposal development and cross-service-line collaboration.

The opportunity

Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professionals provide advisory services including Accounting and regulatory support for accounting change and special matters; accounting processes and controls support.

Within EY FAAS practice, the Finance Transformation Experts team build and develop client relationship with our regional stakeholders. We are part of an integrated global network of professionals who develop, design and optimise client service business processes for efficiency and high performance. We leverage and improve various frameworks, methodologies, solutions specific to our offerings and articulate presentations that communicate proposals, strategies, plans and outcomes.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Delivery and Subject Matter Expertise -

• Certification and/or 1 end to end implementation experience of SAP ECC FI/CO, SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO/COPA/Central Finance.
• Deep techno-functional knowledge of SAP finance platform/solution integration with AI based technologies. Hands on experience of designing AI solution for record to report areas based on SAP platform.
• Intensive knowledge of consolidation process and how consolidation data structure is set up & how consolidation process runs in leading consolidation tool like SAP Group Reporting, SAP BPC & how operational chart of accounts are mapped to Group Chart of Accounts in BPC or FS Items in SAP Group Reporting
• Knowledge of SAP Accrual engine, SAP RAR.
• Lead delivery teams or workstream in large projects for a one or more solution areas.
• Solid knowledge of AI solutions availability & applicability in record to report area. Knowledge & experience of AI solutions development in record to report area is preferred.

Business Development & Solution Development -

• Lead pursuit teams to understand client problem statements & formulate that in solutions
• Lead developing client specific solutions for the engagement team
• Lead proposal development or lead proposal teams
• Lead collaboration with market teams to develop relationship and drive business growth for EY
• Collaborate cross service lines to ensure smooth execution of the project.
• Lead development of internal capability development and lead training sessions to coach internal teams to develop capability
• Lead operational initiatives within the practice areas.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• CA, MBA (Finance) with Commerce Background, CWA, CMA, CFA, M.Com
• 2-4 Years of relevant consulting experience in record to report transformation (not Industry user experience)
• Experience of working with international clients preferred
• Experience with previous multinational consulting firms or Big4 firms
