Job summary

Nouryon, India, seeks a seasoned Finance professional to lead tolling and warehouse financial governance. You will partner with Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain to drive cost transparency, inventory valuation, and robust reporting.

The role requires 5–8 years in FP&A or cost accounting in manufacturing, with expertise in SAP, SAP BW, Power BI, and strong English communication. This is a full-time on-site position based in Navi Mumbai.

Qualifications

  • Qualified with CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance).
  • 5–8 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Costing, Accounting, or Supply Chain Finance.
  • Experience in manufacturing or multinational environments preferred.
  • Exposure to tolling, warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial governance of tolling and warehouse operations, including costing, inventory valuation, and reporting.
  • Coordinate Stage-Gate processes and provide financial assessments for cross-functional alignment.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, CapEx/OpEx, and inventory-related financial impacts.
  • Ensure SOX compliance, internal controls, and DoA-aligned processes.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to improve visibility and decision-making.

Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job:
  • Provide financial controlling and business partnering support for tolling, warehouse, and fleet operations, ensuring accurate costing, inventory governance, compliance, and reliable financial reporting.
  • Drive cost transparency and operational efficiency through effective monitoring of tolling, warehousing, inventory, and logistics-related costs.
  • Ensure robust inventory stewardship through accurate valuation, reconciliation, inventory counting, variance management, and inventory ageing oversight.
  • Strengthen governance and maintain compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, and company policies across tolling and warehouse operations.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Operations, and Business teams to support decision-making, optimize costs, mitigate risks, and improve business performance.
  • Drive standardization, continuous improvement, and financial oversight of tolling activities, warehouse operations, and related inventory processes to safeguard company assets and support sustainable growth.
About The Job (Job Responsibilities):
Tolling Controlling:
  • Lead the financial governance of tolling operations, including tolling agreements, costing, inventory management, and performance reporting.
  • Coordinate the tolling Stage-Gate process, providing financial assessments and ensuring alignment across Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
  • Manage tolling costing activities, including additive costing, profit center governance, cost variance analysis, and profitability reviews.
  • Support tolling plant and product setup activities, including SAP master data, BOM governance, SKU maintenance, and costing validations.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and CapEx/OpEx spend for tolling operations. Ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting by monitoring inventory adjustments, off-spec materials, waste disposal, and related financial impacts.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, trade compliance requirements, and corporate policies across tolling operations.
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and performance improvements to enhance cost efficiency, controls, and data quality.
Warehouse Controlling:
  • Act as a finance business partner to Outplant Managers, providing financial analysis and decision support.
  • Monitor warehouse, outplant, and fleet costs, analyze variances, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, latest views, and month-end close activities for warehouse operations.
  • Ensure accurate inventory valuation, ageing analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting across outplants and warehouses.
  • Coordinate physical inventory and fixed asset counts, investigate variances, and manage inventory difference approvals in line with DoA requirements.
  • Monitor and strengthen SOX compliance and inventory-related controls across warehouse and outplant locations.
  • Support the setup of new outplants, including SAP master data, cost center structures, and inventory governance.
  • Develop performance reporting, KPIs, and dashboards to enhance operational visibility and decision-making.
  • Support business projects, investment proposals, and continuous improvement initiatives through financial analysis and business partnering.
We believe you bring (Education & Experience):
Education and experience:
  • CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) with relevant professional qualification.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Costing, Accounting, or Supply Chain Finance.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or multinational organization.
  • Exposure to tolling, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred. Experience in Finance Shared Services / GCC environment is an advantage.
Specialized Skills/ Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial analysis. Understanding of inventory accounting, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
  • Proficiency in SAP, SAP BW, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Results‑oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive process standardization and automation.
  • Comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment and across different time zones.
