Job summary

Ipac Automation in Pune is seeking engineers to design and develop control systems for industrial applications, review documents, and support site installations, commissioning and troubleshooting. Candidates should have hands-on knowledge of PLC/DCS systems (Honeywell, Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider, ABB) and industrial networks, with willingness to travel for on-site activities.

Exposure to ATEX/IECEx is a plus.

Roles, Responsibilities and Technical Skills Required

• Design and develop control systems architecture for industrial applications
• Prepare and review engineering documents such as:

• Site support for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications
• Preparation of FAT/SAT procedures and participation in testing activities

Technical Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of PLC/DCS systems (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, ABB, etc.)
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP)
• Familiarity with control system architecture and network design
• Knowledge of hazardous area classification (ATEX/IECEx) is an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Willingness to travel for site activities
