Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Bengaluru is seeking a Control Management Associate within Risk Management and Compliance to help maintain a sustainable end-to-end control environment. You will analyze risks, escalate issues with urgency, and partner with business teams to remediate controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5-10 years of experience in financial services with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide control-related subject matter expertise for relevant projects driven inside and outside of the Control Management organization
• Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols
• Perform issue/action plan administration end-to-end
• Support the team in developing the content and agenda for various control committees and forums
• Design, enhance, produce and maintain reporting processes for reoccurring deliverables on a regular basis
• Develop enhanced reporting for controls through use of automation, if required
• Support in the coordination of control updates to internal management committees, including preparation of materials and development of executive-level content and commentary
• Perform ongoing analysis of program related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) and develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business-related programs and strategies

As a Control Management Associate supporting CCOR, you'll be responsible for ensuring the line of business has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment, identifying and escalating issues with a sense of urgency, and partnering with the business to ensure issues are remediated in a timely manner. The team assists in top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation.

Minimum Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 5-10 years of experience in financial services industry with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance preferred; or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business related function/operation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred

Additional Skills, Experience and Qualifications

The following additional items will be considered but are not required for this role

• Experience with other software packages is a plus (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, Python etc)
