Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is seeking a Control Application engineer to support power-system protection projects and controller logic design. You will apply fundamentals of power systems, protections and interlocking, and develop controller logic for on-site deployment.

Experience with RTDS HIL or similar hardware is preferred. You will engage with customers during FAT and site commissioning, and collaborate with global teams, communicating technically and clearly.

Qualifications

• M.E./M.Tech in Power Systems with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of power system fundamentals, protections and interlocking.

Responsibilities

• Good knowledge on Power System Fundamentals.
• Good knowledge on protections, interlocking, logic design/development for controllers.
• Exposure to RTDS Hardware-in-loop (HIL) or similar, Omicron CMC injection kit.
• Handling customers during FAT and at site during commissioning.
• Collaboration & Technical Communication with strong verbal and non-verbal skills.
