Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Kolkata is seeking a seasoned professional to lead contract and billing activities for large-scale MEP packages. You will coordinate with design consultants, in-house teams, and site management to ensure accurate cost control and timely payments.

The ideal candidate holds a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 12–15 years of experience in contract and billing, and a proven track record in SAP-based workflows and value engineering.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering required.
• 12–15 years experience in contract and billing.
• Experience with MEP packages, SAP and cost control processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external Design Consultants on MEP design and specifications.
• Interface between in-house Architectural Team and external Design Consultants.
• Collaborate with Site Project Management to execute MEP packages on site.
• Review site feedback on progress and requirements.
• Assist in tendering MEP packages and evaluating quotations.

Job Description

Scope of Works

• Coordinating with external Design Consultants regarding design and specification finalization of any MEP Package
• Coordinating in between in-house Architectural Team and external Design Consultants
• Coordinating with Project Management Consultants posted at Site in relation to execution of MEP Packages at Site
• Taking relevant feedback from Site Team relating to Progress of Works and requirement
• Floating Tender of MEP packages to vendors/contractors under the guidance of Regional Contracts Head
• Take part in evaluating quotations of contractors/vendors, preparation of comparative statement and suggesting for value engineering
• Uploading MEP contracts in internal SAP system
• Checking the MEP related bills as per Contractual provision and prepare payment certificates as per terms of contracts
• Tracking of MEP Orders and Bills (received from Site and posted to accounts for payment)
• Rate analysis of items whenever required
• Assisting in tracking the Budgetary provision of MEP Packages
• Regularly maintain, monitor and update status of materials and equipment critical for Project progress
• Evaluate of variation orders / change orders and provide recommendationsProviding data to Contracts Head for issuance of Contractual Letter to contractors/vendors wherever required and applicable
• All other Contracts-Related works to be performed as and when required

Qualifications

Qualification : B.E/B.tech (Electrical Engineering)

Experience : At least 12 to 15 years in contract and billing
