3M is seeking a Contract Process Analyst to join the Global Legal Service Center in Bengaluru. You will support the End-to-End CLM ecosystem, assist users globally, and help standardize contracting processes through SOPs and metrics reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in contract administration, strong communication, and proficiency with CLM tools like DocuSign CLM and Evisort. You will collaborate across functions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in a fast-moving global

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical/science/business operations or related discipline with strong academic credentials.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration, shared services, or similar process-driven roles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to support users with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to standardize processes and execute SOPs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and resolve global user issues for End-to-End CLM Solutions across all channels.
  • Support onboarding and access management for DocuSign CLM, Evisort and other contracting systems.
  • Maintain and update Superuser & CLM Power user lists and access records.
  • Ensure guidelines and training materials are updated in digital formats and SharePoint.
  • Develop FAQs based on recurring user issue patterns and update signature tools monthly.
  • Perform metadata updates and compile monthly metrics reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update approval access and validate submissions against Global frameworks.
  • Support regular reporting and data preparation for quarterly reviews.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize GLSC performance.

Business Title: Contract process Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION: Contract process Analyst

Contract Process Analyst will be part of the Global Legal Service Center (GLSC) and will be instrumental in advancing contract management processes for 3M businesses and functions. This position will report to the GLSC Contracts Work Group Lead and work closely with the Contract Center of Excellence (CCOE) in supporting the contracting process through standardizing support and operations, executing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performing metrics tracking and reporting.

Contract Process Analyst will support users globally, optimizing the utilization of End-to-End Lifecycle Management Solutions (CLM). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for the Contract Process Analyst to assist users effectively, thus enhancing global consistency and improving contracting experiences. The Contract Process Analyst is critical in maintaining an efficient, organized, and compliant contract management process within the organization.

Responsibilities include
User Enquiries management:
  • Actively manage and effectively resolve global user issues for End-to-End CLM Solutions promptly across all channels.
User Access Management, Training & Instruction
  • Support new user onboarding and access management for DocuSign CLM, Evisort and other contracting systems and tools.
  • Maintain and update Superuser & CLM Power user lists and related access records as required.
  • Ensure guidelines, job aids, and training materials are updated accurately in digital formats and SharePoint.
  • Develop comprehensive FAQs based on recurring user issue patterns.
  • Conduct ongoing and monthly updates of Signature tools and databases.
Central Repository Operations
  • Perform metadata updates and ensure accuracy in the contract repository system.
  • Compile monthly metrics reports for the Legal Affairs Contracts Center of Excellence Operations Leadership team, Business Group stakeholders, and Legal Affairs stakeholders.
Approval Operations
  • Maintain and update approval access as required
  • Validate Business Group submissions by checking alignment with Global frameworks to ensure accurate information flows into the CLM system.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Support regular reporting to improve data use across contracting tools and processes
  • Prepare requisite data for Quarterly Data Review processes.
Other Support
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to optimize Legal Affairs Contracts Center of Excellence GLSC performance and productivity.

Any other related responsibilities assigned.

Skills and expertise
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in technical/science/business operations or related discipline with high academic credentials from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration, shared services, operations support, or similar process‑driven roles, including handling user inquiries and system issues in helpdesk, customer service, or project coordination environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to support users with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to standardize processes and execute SOPs effectively.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in metrics tracking and reporting.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize based on urgency.
  • Process‑minded and results‑oriented.
  • Proficient in Excel, SharePoint, Power BI and Salesforce.
  • Experience in creating training materials is advantageous
  • Proven ability to thrive in a global, cross‑functional team environment while prioritizing efficiency and compliance.

  • Experience using the DocuSign CLM platform
