Job summary

World Wide Technology in Pune invites a Senior Network Engineer specializing in Cisco ACI, routing and switching, wireless, and security to design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure in a large-scale environment.

The role requires 9+ years of experience, hands-on Cisco ACI, routing protocols, and enterprise wireless management (Cisco WLC). You will work with Fortinet/Checkpoint/Cisco ASA firewalls, perform L3 troubleshooting, and document network architecture.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Cisco ACI (must-have).
• Deep knowledge of Routing & Switching protocols.
• Experience with Enterprise Wireless (Cisco WLC, mobility groups, RF tuning).
• Hands-on experience in at least one: Fortinet, Checkpoint, or Cisco ASA.
• Strong troubleshooting skills at L2/L3 level and familiarity with network logging.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Cisco ACI fabric infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, VxLAN).
• Handle enterprise Wireless networks (Cisco WLC, APs, RF optimisation).
• Configure and support Firewall technologies (Fortinet / Checkpoint / Cisco ASA).
• Perform L3 troubleshooting for network incidents and outages.
• Analyse network performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Work with cross-functional teams for network design and integration.
• Ensure compliance with network security policies and standards.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and network diagrams.
