Role & responsibilities

Technical Core (Contentful Expertise)

• Advanced Content Modeling: Hands‑on experience architecting complex, reusable content schemas and relationships.
• API Proficiency: Deep technical experience implementing Contentful Delivery, Management, Preview, and GraphQL APIs.
• App Framework: Proven ability to build custom UI extensions and apps using the Contentful App Framework.
• Environment Management: Experience managing space topologies, environment aliases, and utilizing migration CLI tools.
• Certification Requirement: Must hold the Contentful Certified Professional credential.

Architecture & Frontend Integration

• Modern JavaScript: Expert‑level knowledge of Node.js and frontend frameworks, specifically Next.js.
• MACH Architecture: Strong working knowledge of Microservices, API‑first, Cloud‑native, and Headless architectures.
• CI/CD Automation: Experience configuring and running automated content migrations and code deployments via GitHub Actions.
• Caching & CDN: Strong understanding of Edge caching, webhook configurations, and optimizing API response payloads.

Collaboration & Technical Ownership

• Code Quality: Active participation in code reviews, enforcing strict team coding standards, and technical onboarding.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Ability to partner with content authors to translate editorial workflows into clean technical setups.
• Workflow Optimization: Experience configuring custom permissions, user roles, and multi‑stage content release lifecycles.
