About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Content Writer with a strong background in the clinical domain to join our team at Saama in Chennai. In this role, you will act as the crucial bridge between our advanced clinical data products, our internal knowledge base, and our diverse audiences. You will be responsible for transforming complex product information, clinical processes, and raw insights into clear, engaging, and high-quality content.

A significant part of your day-to-day will involve collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)—such as product managers, data scientists, and clinical experts. You will take their technical or specialized drafts and refine them, ensuring the final output accurately reflects Saama's innovative solutions while remaining accessible and polished for the target reader.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Content Creation: Draft clear, compelling, and accurate content based on existing source materials, focusing heavily on Saama's products, clinical processes, and life sciences innovations.
• SME Collaboration & Editing: Review, refine, and polish raw content shared by Subject Matter Experts, transforming specialized clinical and technical jargon into digestible insights without sacrificing accuracy.
• Product & Process Mastery: Develop a deep working knowledge of Saama's AI-driven products, platforms, and internal processes to ensure all content perfectly aligns with our capabilities.
• Audience Adaptability: Flex your writing style and tone to effectively reach and engage diverse audiences—from clinical trial professionals to internal stakeholders—across multiple formats.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, flow, and consistency with our brand voice, while maintaining awareness of industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven professional experience as a Content Writer, Medical Writer, Technical Writer, or similar role.
• Domain Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of the clinical domain, life sciences, or the clinical trials space. An understanding of clinical data management or health-tech is highly preferred.
• Writing & Editing: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for detail and narrative flow.
• Analytical Thinking: The ability to synthesize complex clinical and technological information and present it in a clear, user-friendly, and engaging way.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of collaborating smoothly with highly technical experts and cross-functional teams.
