Content Writer – Healthcare / Medical Communications

Qualifications / Requirements
The ideal candidate should have prior experience writing for the healthcare, hospital, infection control, neonatal care, medical devices, public health, or life sciences domain. Candidates with exposure to infection prevention, ICU/OT workflows, neonatal care, Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC), maternal-child health, hospital quality systems, or clinical research communication will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the content strategy for Thermaissance
- Create and manage a monthly content calendar covering social media posts, articles and blogs, campaign themes, emailers and newsletters, case-study summaries, and doctor-facing and hospital communication materials
- Write well-researched articles, white papers, clinical explainers, product notes, proposal support content, and thought-leadership pieces
- Convert clinical data, lab reports, pilot studies, and published literature into simplified yet scientifically accurate content suitable for different stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with leadership, clinical research, sales, and marketing teams to create content and proposals for doctors and clinicians, NICU teams, HICC members, public health officials, and hospital administrators
- Lead social media content creation and campaign communication
- Develop content for brochures, presentations, newsletters, website sections, product explainers, event communication, and marketing collateral
- Ensure all content is medically responsible, evidence-based, and aligned with regulatory and clinical communication standards
Preferred Skills
- Strong command of written English and medical communication
- Ability to understand and interpret scientific/clinical literature
- Experience in healthcare branding, medical content, or hospital communication
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and professional healthcare communication platforms is preferred
