Job Summary

Zoho is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Content Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation that enables our users to understand and effectively use Zohos products and services. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and support teams to translate complex technical information into engaging, user-friendly content. This position is ideal for someone with strong writing skills, technical aptitude, and a passion for helping others through well-crafted documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical content, including user guides, FAQs, API documentation, product release notes, and tutorials.

• Work closely with product teams to gather information, understand new features, and document them effectively.

• Develop step-by-step instructions, visual aids, and diagrams to enhance content clarity.

• Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to style guidelines.

• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve documentation.

• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and terminology across all product content.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in technical writing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or related field.

• Proven experience as a technical writer, content developer, or similar role.

• Exceptional writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.

• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

• Proficiency in using documentation tools and content management systems.

• Familiarity with APIs, software development processes, and SaaS-based products is a plus.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Experience
