Job summary

TANUH (Translational AI for Networked Universal Healthcare) invites applications for a Content & Social Media Intern to support our communications output across platforms. TANUH (Translational AI for Networked Universal Healthcare) is an AI Centre of Excellence under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, hosted at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. We develop and deploy AI-driven diagnostics and decision-support tools for early detection and management of high-burden non-communicable diseases (NCDs) across India.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Content & Social Media Intern to support TANUH's content and communications output across social media platforms. You'll help create, schedule and track content that communicates our work at the intersection of AI and healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Plan, draft and schedule social media content across platforms
• Create content around events, partnerships and organisational announcements
• Assist with planning, coordination and documentation of events
• Liaise across organisational verticals to gather content requirements
• Track engagement metrics and prepare performance summaries

Position details

• Location: Bengaluru (work from office, IISc campus)
• Duration: 6 months
• Stipend: ₹30,000 per month
• Reporting to: Marketing and communications manager

Requirements

• Interest in content creation and social media, with an understanding of how different platforms work
• Strong written English, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit a professional, institutional audience
• Comfortable coordinating with multiple people and teams to gather information and meet deadlines
• Organised and detail-oriented, able to manage several ongoing tasks at once
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, media studies or a related field
