Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional in India is hiring to develop and maintain high-quality legal content that is current, accurate, and valuable to customers worldwide. You will monitor legal and regulatory developments and apply subject-matter expertise to enhance content portfolios across practice areas.

This role operates in a hybrid model, with one office day per week (Thursday). You will collaborate with editors and researchers, draft and edit material, and ensure compliance with publishing

Qualifications

• Law degree with 3-4 years' experience in content development, publishing, and/or legal or regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated drafting and editing experience with a good working knowledge of the publishing process.
• Strong communication and collaborative working skills.
• Hybrid work mode requires office presence once a week, every Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Identify developments, legislative reforms, procedures, case law, and trends within the relevant practice areas.
• Develop a strong understanding of the portfolio, including target market, authors, positioning, structure, and development needs.
• Apply subject matter knowledge and customer insights to deliver content that ensures currency, relevance, and accessibility across products.
• Identify and implement plans to harvest, refresh, or discontinue underperforming modules.
• Develop and communicate the value proposition of all modules within the portfolio.
• Support new content development proposals and the implementation of new content and titles within adjacent practice areas and/or jurisdictions.

About the Role

• Well-developed problem-solving and project management skills.
