Job summary

Idea Showcase is seeking a Content Creator – Video & Reels to transform ideas from concept to final reel. You will shoot, edit and refine reels with a strong hook, storytelling, pacing, and clear call-to-action.

You will handle lighting, framing and transitions while collaborating with our team on typography, motion graphics and basic VFX. 1–3 years of videography/editing experience and familiarity with Instagram Reels are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of videography/editing experience.
• Strong understanding of short-form content and Instagram Reels.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve/Final Cut Pro).

Responsibilities

• Shoot high-quality reels and short-form videos for brands and clients.
• Handle camera/mobile shooting, lighting, framing and composition.
• Plan shots, angles, sequences and transitions.
• Edit engaging reels for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Work with typography, motion graphics, transitions, music and sound design.
• Create kinetic typography and text-based animations.
• Add captions, subtitles, graphics and basic VFX.
• Develop reel concepts and explore relevant trends.
• Shoot content across product, food, hospitality, lifestyle, people, events and BTS.
• Collaborate with our creative and branding team to turn ideas into content.

We’re looking for someone who understands that a good reel is more than just nice visuals. It needs a strong hook, sharp storytelling, great pacing, and a reason to keep watching.

What you’ll do:

• Shoot high-quality Reels and short-form videos for brands and clients
• Handle camera/mobile shooting, lighting, framing and composition
• Plan shots, angles, sequences and transitions
• Edit engaging Reels for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Work with typography, motion graphics, transitions, music and sound design

What we’re looking for:

• 1–3 years of experience in videography/editing
• Strong understanding of short-form content and Instagram Reels
• Good visual sense and storytelling ability
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro
• Basic to strong knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics
• Understanding of colour grading, audio and typography
• Someone who can independently take a concept and turn it into a finished reel

Good to have: Photography, gimbal, drone, CGI/3D, AI video tools or advanced motion graphics skills.
