Job summary

Modulus Seventeen in Bengaluru is seeking an Executive to join our growing team for content creation, social media marketing, customer support, and sales. As an early-stage startup, you’ll touch multiple parts of the business and help shape our brand’s voice across channels.

You’ll shoot and edit short-form videos, design social assets, engage with customers, and brainstorm campaigns. The role offers hands-on learning, ownership, and opportunities for ESOPs as we grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in content creation and marketing for a startup or similar environment.
• Comfortable talking to people and engaging with customers.
• Basic knowledge of video shooting and editing.
• Ability to appear on camera for videos.
• Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or Figma for visuals.
• Understanding of Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and social media trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to interact with customers to understand their needs.
• Creative thinking with a willingness to experiment.
• Basic understanding of marketing and sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

Who Should Apply:

• Available for full-time, in-office work in BTM Layout, Bangalore
• with some experience in content creation, marketing.
• Someone who is creative, curious, comfortable talking to people, and excited to work in an early-stage startup

Role Overview:

• As a Executive, you'll work closely with our team across content creation, social media marketing, customer support, and sales. Since we're an early-stage startup, you'll get the opportunity to work on different parts of the business rather than being limited to one responsibility. Social Media & Marketing: (90% of work)

• Help manage and grow our social media presence
• Research trending content, formats, and campaign ideas
• Plan and execute online and offline marketing activities with the team
• Analyse content performance and identify what works
• Help create marketing campaigns and promotional materials

Customer Support: (5% of work)

• Interact with customers and help them understand and use our product
• Understand customer problems and communicate them to the team
• Help resolve basic customer queries and issues
• Collect customer feedback and identify common problems
• Help improve the customer experience based on real conversations

Sales & Business Growth (5% of work)

• Talk to potential customers and introduce them to our product
• Assist the team in generating and following up with leads
• Understand customer requirements and explain how our product can help
• Support offline and online sales activities
• Learn how customers make purchasing decisions and what makes them choose a product
• Maintain basic records of leads, follow-ups, and customer interactions.

Working With the Team:

• Work closely with the founders and team members across different areas
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow them through
• Learn from real customer interactions and feedback
• Be willing to experiment, learn, and take on new responsibilities.
