Job summary

Victaulic, Mumbai, is hiring a Content Apprentice to create and modify engineering content using Revit, AutoCAD and Inventor. You will support 2D/3D modeling and Revit family content development, work with engineering drawings and specifications, and perform quality checks.

The role emphasizes learning content development processes, following established standards, and collaborating with the team to meet technical requirements. Bachelor’s or diploma in mechanical engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with basic fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and engineering drawings.
• Willingness to learn Revit, Inventor and our content development process.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow content standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-

Candidate with good mechanical/CAD fundamentals, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn Revit, Inventor, and our content development process.

1. Create and modify engineering content using Revit, AutoCAD, and Inventor

2. Support 2D/3D modeling and Revit family/content development

3. Work with engineering drawings, product specifications, and dimensional information

4. Perform quality checks for model and dimensional accuracy

5. Update and maintain existing engineering content

6. Follow established content standards and workflows

7. Coordinate with team members to understand technical requirements

Education, Experience & Skills: -

1. B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

2. Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and engineering drawings.

3. Knowledge of at least one CAD software such as AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, or Autodesk inventor

4. Basic understanding of 2D drafting and 3D modeling.

5. Good attention to detail and willingness to learn new software and processes.

6. Interest in automation, Dynamo, programming, or AI tools would be an added advantage
