Job summary

Victaulic in Mumbai is seeking a Content Apprentice who will work under the Lead Coordinator to develop and modify engineering content using Revit, AutoCAD and Inventor. The role focuses on 2D/3D modeling, content development, and ensuring drawings and specifications meet quality standards.

You will gain hands-on experience with engineering drawings, product specs, and dimensional data, while following established content workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with fundamentals in engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, or Autodesk Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify engineering content using Revit, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
• Support 2D/3D modeling and Revit family/content development.
• Work with engineering drawings, product specifications, and dimensional information.
• Perform quality checks for model and dimensional accuracy.
• Update and maintain existing engineering content; follow established content standards and workflows.
• Coordinate with team members to understand technical requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-

Candidate with good mechanical/CAD fundamentals, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn Revit, Inventor, and our content development process.

• Create and modify engineering content using Revit, AutoCAD, and Inventor
• Support 2D/3D modeling and Revit family/content development
• Work with engineering drawings, product specifications, and dimensional information
• Perform quality checks for model and dimensional accuracy
• Update and maintain existing engineering contentFollow established content standards and workflows
• Coordinate with team members to understand technical requirements

Education, Experience & Skills:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of at least one CAD software such as AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, or Autodesk inventor
• Basic understanding of 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn new software and processes.
• Interest in automation, Dynamo, programming, or AI tools would be an added advantage
