Job summary

Cisco Pune is seeking a senior network engineer to manage complex 4G/5G mobility core projects. You will drive end-to-end deployment stability and scalability, acting as the go-to technical expert within the Mobility portfolio.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business priorities, develop design documents and implementation plans, and leverage Cisco AI tools to automate deliverables.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in full lifecycle of end-to-end 4G/5G packet core architectures and 3GPP standards.
• Deep technical proficiency in packet core nodes (S-GW, P-GW, MME, SMF, UPF), StarOS, Cisco infrastructure, and cloud-native environments.
• Advanced automation skills in Python, Linux, and shell scripting, combined with AI/ML knowledge.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills to develop LLDs, MOPs, and implementation plans.
• Ability to influence, motivate and work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment.
