Job summary

Milliman India in Gurgaon invites an experienced actuary to join our global consulting team. You will work on diverse actuarial projects across valuations, pricing, planning, and mergers and acquisitions, collaborating with consultants around the world.

The ideal candidate has strong actuarial modelling experience (preferably Prophet), excellent analytical and communication skills, and 4–7 years of professional experience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in actuarial modelling, preferably Prophet, with modelling best practices and validation.
• Ability to own technical challenges through to completion.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• 4–7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.
• Progress in professional actuarial examinations with a recognized body.
• Knowledge of actuarial software is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively or independently with minimal supervision.
• Driven and self-motivated.

• Collaborate with global consultants to deliver high-quality actuarial projects.

• Work closely with our team of consultants working across the globe, while delivering high-quality projects to our global client base
• Work on a diverse range of actuarial projects (actuarial modelling, valuations, pricing, business planning, mergers and acquisitions amongst others)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Significant experience of actuarial modelling (ideally on FIS Prophet®), with knowledge of modelling best practices, modelling techniques, model validation, and model documentation
• Ability to take ownership of a technical challenge and see it through to a successful conclusion
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• 4-7 years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.)
• Significant progress on examinations from a recognized professional body/institute
• Knowledge of actuarial software and commonly used software is preferred
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment as well as independently with minimum supervision
• Driven and self-motivated
