Job summary

Greythr in Delhi, India seeks a Cyber Security Engineer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to strengthen our security posture. You will perform vulnerability assessments, pen-testing, and incident response with clients and internal teams.

The role requires solid network security knowledge (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS) and familiarity with Check Point Firewalls, WAF, IPS, NDR, and EDR/XDR. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data security solutions including vulnerability assessment and pen-testing.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, DDoS protection, SWG, and IDS/IPS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in deployment, configuration and post-deployment activities for security solutions.
• Troubleshoot cybersecurity incidents and support incident response.
• Prepare documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve security posture.

Experience: 2-3 Years

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Data Security solutions, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing and information protection.
• Strong understanding of Network Security concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of security technologies such as Checkpoint Firewalls, DDoS Protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Network Detection & Response (NDR), IDS, Web Security, Email Security, and Secure Web Gateway (SWG).
• Experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing solutions, EDR/XDR, Endpoint Protection, Antivirus, Device Control, and Endpoint Detection technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot cybersecurity incidents and support solution deployment, implementation, configuration, and post-deployment activities.
• Good communication, presentation, documentation, and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SIEM, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Tools and Incident Response.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+ , CCNA, CCNA Security, or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.
