Job summary

Dr. Yasaswi's Child Development Center in Bengaluru's HSR Layout seeks a Consultant Speech Therapist to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children. You'll work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based therapy sessions and develop individualized plans.

Dr. Yasaswi's Child Development Center, located in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, provides comprehensive developmental support to children with diverse needs. A multidisciplinary team of ABA behavior analyst, behavior therapists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists works together to support children with Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and behavioral, speech, social, academic, and sensory challenges. The center offers a continuum of care from detailed assessment and individualized therapy plans to ongoing guidance for families and caregivers. Using a child-led, play-based approach, the team focuses on fostering growth, learning, and confidence in each child.

Role Description

The Consultant Speech Therapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children with speech, language, and communication disorders in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Daily responsibilities include conducting standardized and informal evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy sessions. The role involves close collaboration with behavior and occupational therapists, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and offering practical guidance to families to support carryover of skills at home and school. The Consultant Speech Therapist will also participate in team meetings, case discussions, and parent training programs to ensure cohesive care. This is an onsite role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Speech Therapy and clinical management of speech-related concerns.
• Expertise in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
• Knowledge and experience in evaluating and managing Dysphagia and related feeding issues.
• Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology (BASLP/MSc in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent).
• Licensure/registration as required by local professional and regulatory bodies.
• Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, and other developmental or neurological conditions is highly beneficial.
• Ability to design individualized treatment plans, track progress, and adjust interventions based on clinical outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal, counseling, and communication skills for working with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
