Job summary

TD SYNNEX in India is seeking a Consultant SAP Run Services to provide SAP SD support and deliver small enhancements within the COE Build framework, enabling quick addressing of functional and technical needs.

You will collaborate with the CoE Build Team and Business Users, translate requirements to specs, document developments, mentor others, and help maintain the global template while working in an international environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years professional experience as an SD Consultant SAP ERP SO expert
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements to technical specs
• Excellent communication skills and customer oriented behavior
• Willing to cooperate closely with business and consulting partners
• Enjoy to work in a team and in an international environment
• Language skills: very good English, one additional language preferred

Job Purpose

The Consultant SAP Run Services is a member of the Shared Services Run team and will be responsible for providing SAP SD support and for the delivery of small enhancements to ensure immediate technical and functional needs can be quickly addressed. As part of the SAP Center of Excellence (COE) the consultant will enable the COE Build organizations to execute on their project commitments and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Support existing SAP SD related business processes
• Ability to quickly understand highly customized and modified processes by ABAP code analysis and problem identification
• Strong alignment and collaboration with the CoE Build Team
• Participates in the delivery of small enhancements of country specific business processes within the framework of a global template
• Realization of SAP system customization in SAP SD
• Solve SAP SD module specific problems as contact person for our internal and external customers
• Provide functional descriptions and business process support to the development team
• Create business standard documentation of all new developments
• Participates in trainings
• Demonstrate flexibility and support for objectives / tasks of other IT organizations
• Knowledge transfer to others on the Support Team, Trainers, Subject Matter Experts and for external Consultants
• Documentation of existing and new functions
• Meets attendance and punctuality standards
• Monitors and maintains support queue
• Maintains knowledge base of application issues
• Mentors new team members
• Ensure system enhancement designs adhere to global template
• Communicate / escali(e) support issue trends and gaps to Supervisor
• Collaborate with Business Users to understand business impacts and priorities

Knowledge Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 5 years professional experience as an SD Consultant SAP ERP SO expert configuration knowledge
• Strong analytical skills, able to translate business requirements to technical specifications
• Strong technical and non‑technical communication skills and customer oriented behavior
• Very strong business problem solving skills
• Willing to cooperate closely with business and consulting partners
• Enjoy to work in a team
• Ability to work in an international environment
