Job summary

Tech Data India is seeking a Consultant SAP Run Services professional to provide SAP SD support and deliver small enhancements within a global template.

As part of the SAP COE, you will collaborate with the CoE Build Team, translate business requirements to technical specs, and mentor teammates while maintaining documentation and knowledge transfer. This role requires strong English and ability to work in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5 years of professional SD consultant experience.
• SAP ERP SD expert configuration knowledge.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in an international environment.
• Proficiency in English; another language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support existing SAP SD related business processes.
• Ability to quickly understand highly customized processes via ABAP code analysis.
• Strong alignment and collaboration with the CoE Build Team.
• Deliver small enhancements of country specific business processes within a global template.
• Realize SAP SD system customization and serve as the contact person for internal/external customers.
• Provide functional descriptions and business process support to the development team.
• Create business standard documentation for new developments and participate in trainings.
• Mentor new team members and transfer knowledge to others on the Support Team.

Job Purpose:

The Consultant SAP Run Services is a member of the Shared Services Run team and will be responsible for providing SAP SD support and for the delivery of small enhancements to ensure immediate technical and functional needs can be quickly addressed. As part of the SAP Center of Excellence (COE) the consultant will enable the COE Build organizations to execute on their project commitments and deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Supportexisting SAP SD related business processes
• Ability to quickly understand highly customized and modified processes by ABAPcode analysis and problem identification
• Strongalignment and collaboration with the CoE Build Team
• Participatesin the delivery of small enhancements of country specific businessprocesses within the framework of a global template
• Realizationof SAP system customization in SAP SD SolveSAP SD module specific problems as contact person for our internal andexternal customers
• Provide functional descriptions and business process support to the developmentteam
• Createbusiness standard documentation of all new developments Participates in trainings
• Demonstrateflexibility and support for objectives / tasks of other IT organizations
• Knowledge transfer to others on the Support Team, Trainers, Subject Matter Expertsand for external Consultants
• Documentation of existing and new functions
• Meets attendance and punctuality standards
• Monitors and maintains support queue
• Maintains knowledge base of application issues Mentors new team members
• Ensure system enhancement designs adhere to global template
• Communicate / elevate support issue trends and gaps to Supervisor
• Collaborate with Business Users to understand business impacts and priorities

Knowledge Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 5 years professional experience as an SDConsultant
• SAP ERP SO expert configuration knowledge
• Strong analytical skills, able to translate business requirements to technical specifications
• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills and customer oriented behavior
• Very strong business problem solving skills
• Willing to cooperate closely with business and consulting partners
• Enjoy to work in a team
• Ability to work in an international environment
• Language skills: very good English, one additional language preferred
