Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to join the Shared Services Run team in Chennai. You will support existing SAP SD processes, customize SAP SD solutions, and work with the COE Build team to deliver small enhancements within a global template.

The role requires 5 years of SAP SD experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with business users in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of professional SD consultant experience.
• Expert configuration in SAP ERP SD module.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in international, cross-functional teams.
• Proficient English; additional language preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Purpose:

The Consultant SAP Run Services is a member of the Shared Services Run team and will be responsible for providing SAP SD support and for the delivery of small enhancements to ensure immediate technical and functional needs can be quickly addressed. As part of the SAP Center of Excellence (COE) the consultant will enable the COE Build organizations to execute on their project commitments and deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Support existing SAP SD related business processes
• Ability to quickly understand highly customized and modified processes by ABAP code analysis and problem identification
• Strong alignment and collaboration with the CoE Build Team
• Participates in the delivery of small enhancements of country specific business processes within the framework of a global template
• Realization of SAP system customization in SAP SD
• Solve SAP SD module specific problems as contact person for our internal and external customers
• Provide functional descriptions and business process support to the development team
• Create business standard documentation of all new developments Participates in trainings
• Demonstrate flexibility and support for objectives / tasks of other IT organizations
• Knowledge transfer to others on the Support Team, Trainers, Subject Matter Experts and for external Consultants
• Documentation of existing and new functions
• Meets attendance and punctuality standards
• Monitors and maintains support queue
• Maintains knowledge base of application issues Mentors new team members
• Ensure system enhancement designs adhere to global template
• Communicate / escalates support issue trends and gaps to Supervisor
• Collaborate with Business Users to understand business impacts and priorities

Knowledge Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 5 years professional experience as an SD Consultant
• SAP ERP SO expert configuration knowledge
• Strong analytical skills, able to translate business requirements to technical specifications
• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills and customer oriented behavior
• Very strong business problem solving skills
• Willing to cooperate closely with business and consulting partners
• Enjoy to work in a team
• Ability to work in an international environment
• Language skills: very good English, one additional language preferred
